According to Whitelaw, p. 217, he was born in 1624. In 1637 a land patent, previously granted to his mother Hannah Savage in 1635, was reissued to John Savage. (NOTE: However, since he was not listed with his parents in the Feb 1624/25 Muster, he must have been born shortly after that in 1625.)2,3 |
