| Anecdote | The sixth of eight children born to William and Nancy Ann (Kirkland) Harrison of Craven Co SC, Sally married Thomas Davis in 1768, possibly in Chester Co SC. They had eight children, five daughters and three sons. Sally and Thomas began their married life together near Blackstock, Chester Co SC. Four children were born to them in SC. They moved to Greene Co TN sometime before 1786, where three more children were born. Note: The original lands of Craven Co are now located in parts of Berkeley, Charleston, Georgetown & Williamsburg Cos. | |
