Ray Griffin reports that Jerom Griffith Sr. registered a cattlemark for cattle given his wife from Argoll Yeardley Esq. when she was a child. (NOTE: One possiblility is that she was Argoll's daughter, but other genealogists don't support this possibility.)^2,3
