Land recd as gift30 April 1660He received land as a gift on 30 April 1660 in Northampton, Virginia, United StatesBGO. It was on this date that his mother, Anne Vosse, deeded him 500 acres on which she lived, to be effective at her death, and on 14 Sep 1662 conveyed half of the 500 acre Wilkins tract, including one great house, one quartering house, one barn and one tobacco house, during her lifetime. On 5 Oct 1665 his brother John released to him any interest he might have had in that land.2
