| Anecdote | He settled in Holly Springs, Mississippi, near his brothers. ALONZO was listed in 1860 Marshall County, Mississippi with W. STILMAN family. He was a brick layer. He served in CO H Blythes Battallion, 7th Miss. Cavalry. ALONZO apparently never married and left no descendants. He entered Beauvoir home for confederate soldiers on Nov. 29, 1910 at age 83. ALONZO died there on May 9, 1916 and is buried in Beauvoir National Cemetery at Biloxi, Mississippi.2 | |
