Anecdote | Richard Woodson (3), B. er. 1662 at Curles in Henrico Co., Va., married ANN SMITH, daughter of Obadiah Smith. They had seven children: Obadiah, John, Richard, Elizabeth (4), Judith, Mary and Agnes. Obadiah (M) Constance, daughter of John Watkins. John (M) Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Anderson of Hanover Co. Richard (M) Ann, daughter of Susanne (Rochette) Michaux. Elizabeth (4) (M) first Thomas Morton (2) and second Edmond Goode. Judith (M) Jacob, son of Susanne (Rochette) Michaux. Mary (M) Richard Truman. Agnes (M) Joseph Morton. Richard Woodson's (3) brother Robert, on March 4, 1716, deeded to his "loving cozens" (nephews) Obadia Woodson, John Woodson and Joseph Woodson, sons of Richard Woodson, 498 acs. in Henrico. In 1729 he made a deed to James Hambleton for land in Henrico Co., being part of the tract granted to his father Robert Woodson in Oct. 1704. As he was about 67 at the time, he probably died within a few years thereafter.2 | |
